The Collegiate Rocket League (CRL) Spring Season may have just wrapped up, but that doesn't mean the CRL content train is slowing down any time soon. With that being said, let us introduce you to the CRL Spring Showdown: a 64-team, high-stakes, single-elimination tournament with $50,000 of scholastic awards up for grabs.

What's the Format and Schedule?

Similar to the CRL Spring Season, the Spring Showdown will be divided into Eastern and Western Conferences. The Eastern Conference will play on one side of the bracket, while the Western Conference will play on the other. The Championship will be an epic clash between the Eastern and Western Conferences with scholastic rewards and bragging rights on the line.

All matches from Round 1 (64 teams) through the Quarterfinals (eight teams) will be Best-of-5, while the Semifinals and Championship will be Best-of-7. Each match is single elimination—win and move on, lose and catch the rest of the tournament from the sidelines. Additionally, this tournament will be online-only due to current global health concerns.

With such a large tournament, we won't be able to broadcast every match, but we'll be broadcasting as much CRL Spring Showdown on Twitch as we can. Check out the tournament schedule below:
